Another app that lets you track the prices associated with an app is BargainBin. BargainBin enables you to set the retail price you'd like to spend on an app you're enthusiastic about. If the app drops to that particular price or below BargainBin will present you with a push notification in your iPad. You can then decide to buy or not. I have used this app for some time and found it to be very useful if this worked. However, it was very slow at times and even crashed often. You might have better luck than me.
There are a couple of other apps readily available for your iPad that serve the identical purpose as BargainBin, but I haven't ever found one which worked at the same time (if it works).
