Watch Online Movies Stream Free! This is the second article in the series at no cost TV and movie online viewing.
I recently had dinner with friends, and noticed the children watching cable programs. My friends proudly announced they simply had the "movie channels" the cable company essential for basic service, but that the kids watched a common network series. I asked simply how much the cable bill set it, and was astonished to get they were happy to pay nearly $400 per year for television.
In 1985, I was stationed in England where a TV tax must be paid to own and watch a television set. That's not a joke- it's real. If the tax isn't paid, you were fined as well as the television was confiscated. If you are military, at all like me, you'd even more problems. Those laws remain in force. I paid nearly $400 per year for four channels. Two independent channels and 2 BBC government regulated ones.
I don't want to pay to view TV again. I began researching online to find sites I could watch movies free, and wrote about seventeen ones. I enjoy watching movies for most genres and don't miss cable in any respect.
Recently, after viewing my online TV guide, I wondered if I could access another networks on the web and view programs and films free. I found my answer. Yes.
Here are ten network sites to view free online programs and movies. Not all sites show full- length movies-yet. There are several thirty-second commercials during these programs. That's far less than on regular television. Nothing listed here requires special downloads, email addresses or memberships of any kind.
While many sites offer no movies yet, to know what the future holds? Perhaps if enough people contacted the sites the network might eventually provide a movie or two.
Discovery Channel
No full- length movies, but I watched episodes of "The Colony," "The Deadliest Catch," and episodes through the "Animal Planet" series. There are a lot more available. I especially enjoyed clips from "Monster Animal Videos." There are truly amazing animals nowadays.
Many documentaries are available free of charge viewing as well. For those who are last school, here's a place to study research with out a cable bill or renting a DVD.
Syfy
To watch movies, click on the Syfy movies link with the right side of the screen. Click the links of "Syfy Original Movies," and "Sci fi Classics" to see the currently playing full-length feature. Syfy original movies are shown on HULU.com, look at the site to find the movie currently playing. This site also plays several Syfy series.
There are instances of "Haven," "Warehouse 13," "Ghosthunters Academy," "Tin Man," and others.
This site now offers online games, such as "Dark Orbit," "Ninja," "Mahjong," yet others. "But wait - there's more," as television advertisers say. Syfy offers sweepstakes, phone apps, e-postcards to send an much, far more.

Arts and Entertainment - AETV
View the listings of various programs with this wonderful network, look for series-related items, play games, watching full-length episodes. Join online forums to talk about your superheroes/programs.
Here is really a list of a couple of shows: "Dog The Bounty Hunter," "Paranormal State," 'Intervention," plus a host a great many others are available totally free vowing.
Hallmark
This is the greatest family-friendly site I've found thus far. Back to school recipes, hints and tips, games to learn, listings of holidays and internet-based shopping are only the beginning.
Your favorite oldies series like "I Love Lucy," "Touched by an Angel," "Who's the Boss," "Golden Girls," and much more are offered for online viewing. New series such as, "Dad's Home," "Elevator Girl," "Mending Fences" will also be offered.
Sweepstakes can be obtained for fans of Hallmark. Currently running is a chance to view the "Martha Stewart" show live as it's taped. Details are entirely on the site.
Slash Control
Hundreds of free movies are listed, some recent, some not. Every genre appears to be represented from Bollywood, documentaries and more.
Television series can also be available, "The Office", "Stargate SG-1", "The Office" and far more. The site possesses a total 88,688 videos to your free viewing pleasure.
Click around the links "Scifi Squad," "Movies," "AOL TV," "Horror Squad," or "TV Squad" you just read the online magazines for the people genres.
Hallmark
This is an additional family-friendly site detailed with contests, sweepstakes and more. Free membership is required to participate in the contests, however.
Episodes of "Army Wives," "Project Runway," "On the Road With Austin & Santino," and others are waiting your viewing.
This site shows LMN network and Lifetime original movies for limited durations. The movies change every week, so check in often. The first time I visited this website only one movie was available. Now there are nine.
Original webisodes (those shows made exclusively for online viewing) include "Street Doctors," "Mommy Madness" and others.
CW Network
Currently no movies can be found, but full episodes of series such as "Moonlight," "Hellcats," "Smallville" and others are.
Join a forum to go over your favorite actor/show. Get the latest photos of your chosen celebrity, and observe free previews before anyone sees them on regular television.
There is a lot, far more available on this site.
BET
Watch your chosen shows such as, "Hell Date," "The Mo'Nique Show," "Lift Every Voice," and "Comic View." A host of other shows can also be available free of charge viewing.
There are webisodes to view that won't be shown on television, too as something another sites don't offer: free music videos.
Explore all this wonderful site can give. No movies yet, though.
STARZ
To watch Starz original series free with no subscription, click the "Originals" tab, choose the name in the show you desire to watch and select from available programs.

There are factoids about current and upcoming movies, forums, contests and, needless to say, the Disney Store.
It needs to be mentioned that advertisements on tv suggest that free television could become a thing with the past if American's don't act and support that or this PAC (political action committee).
No, I don't personally believe free television will become outdated in America. We being a people won't allow legislators to accomplish this. Think about that for any minute. How would the American Government suddenly regulate, control, and tax an incredible number of televisions? Imagine the response of the ACLU if televisions were suddenly confiscated. Ho, boy.
We were advised overseas the British Government sends "James Bond-like" trucks through neighborhoods to read the microwaves from homes, and compares the readings against printouts or computer records of that has and hasn't gotten a TV tax license. If the readings out of your place showed a TV is at use, but no license, an inspector or PC (Police Constable) was sent to find out your license. If you didn't produce it, you are fined as well as the TV was confiscated on the spot.
Can you imagine that here? I don't think so.
If you're on vacation or if the cable box has to go to make ends meet, watch free episodes online- make ends meet- you shouldn't be deprived of your selected shows.
